Abstract

In this research, it is intended to produce advanced hybrid composite material by incorporating GFRP Mat, Jute fiber, and graphene nanofiller. The innovative material is derived from Epoxy resin LY556 as well as the Hardener HY951 through the fabrication method known as manual layup fabrication. This research thoroughly defines the properties of the composite material by performing tests including tensile strength, water absorption, hardness test, flexural strength and Impact test. The use of graphene nanofillers results in increased mechanical and physical characteristics of the composite with a substantial difference compared to regular GFRP material. It has been established that the novel hybrid composite outperforms counterparts in the comparison therefore the material could be suitable for a number of industrial applications where enhanced strength and toughness are required.
