Abstract

One of the most challenging problems facing many areas in India these days is the management of debris resulting from the development and destruction of buildings made of concrete. It’s a demanding issue that must be addressed locally. Disposing of demolished waste presents a significant challenge due to stringent environmental regulations and a shortage of dumping sites in cities. The impact on different durability and performance parameters of Concrete that has hardened was investigated by replacing natural coarse aggregates (at 30%, 40%, 50%, and 60%) with Recycled Coarse Aggregates (RCA). Additionally, Ceramic Waste Powder (CWP) was utilized as a substitute for cement. Hardened concrete underwent tests such as compressive strength, spilt tensile strength, chloride attack test and sulfate attack test to assess concrete durability. With a compressive strength of 36.5 MPa of RCA30% CWP 50% mixture was determined to be the optimal replacement percentage.
