Abstract

Manufacturing sustainability represents a fundamental industrial challenge because it requires solutions to deal with environmental and economic effects of industrial operations. The research investigates how nanotechnology unites with green manufacturing techniques to address current sustainability problems through its ability to cut waste production and maximize energy effectiveness while utilizing eco-friendly materials. Various nano-composites receive centered attention since they demonstrate exceptional mechanical, thermal and electrical attributes alongside their development and implementation. The analysis discusses three types of nano-composites including polymer matrix composites and ceramic matrix composites and metal matrix composites and demonstrates sustainable production methods through sol-gel processes electrospinning stir casting and additive manufacturing. Sustainable nano-composites accelerate industrial development through various practical cases showcasing their use in automotive, aerospace and renewable energy sectors. This research presents nanotechnology as an assessment tool for sustainability issues while establishing methods to capitalize on state-of-the-art materials and production approaches for an eco-friendly manufacturing approach.
