Abstract

This paper explored the interconnections between the causes of GHG emissions, reduction strategies, and their benefits within the framework of sustainable manufacturing and environmental preservation. GHG emissions which originating from sectors such as electricity and heat production, and industrial activities, which are the key contributors to climate change due to the accumulation of carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide in the atmosphere. To address these challenges, this paper evaluates the effectiveness of reduction methods, focusing on carbon capture and storage (CCS) and the integration of cleaner technologies in electricity generation. Sustainable manufacturing processes that incorporate energy efficiency and low-carbon technologies play a vital role in reducing GHG emissions, aligning with broader environmental precautions and sustainable development.
