AI in creating interactive learning: A proposed design of user security awareness smart consultant framework
Abstract
Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), which is currently developing rapidly, can be empowered to increase cybersecurity awareness in the community, considering the increasing number of cyber-attacks targeting users, especially users who do not have an understanding and awareness of the importance of cybersecurity. GenAI-based cybersecurity awareness learning for the community is expected to make it easier for the community (as users) to consult and ask questions about cybersecurity online with the system while also becoming an innovation and a better and interactive learning model compared to several current cybersecurity education solutions and services (discussion forums, tutorials, workshop). This study proposes a design for developing a Generative AI-based framework and prototype with the Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) method utilizing local knowledge based on cybersecurity documents owned by users to be the basis for discussions and questions and answers for users and the system. This paper presents a proposed design chart that adopts the pre-retrieval process (chunking, indexing, embedding), retrieval, augmented, and generation, along with detailed explanations of each. Testing of the proposed framework design is carried out by matching the features required by the system with the features contained in the proposed design based on Black Box Testing. The testing results show that the proposed framework solution design is appropriate and can be a basic foundation for further research in the form of implementation and testing stages.
