Abstract

Innovations in Enhancing Supervision and Accountability encompasses several important aspects related to the changing business landscape and the need for more effective governance in the digital era. As technology advances, the business environment undergoes rapid transformation, and companies are required to continuously adapt to maintain competitiveness and stakeholder trust. One of the main challenges faced by modern companies is how to maintain transparency, accountability, and integrity in corporate governance or Good Corporate Governance (GCG). By examining the impact of AI implementation on GCG, this study aims to provide strategic guidance for companies looking to strengthen their governance in the digital era. This research uses a qualitative approach with the aim of deeply understanding how the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in corporate governance or Good Corporate Governance (GCG) can enhance supervision and accountability. The transformation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) through the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers significant innovations in enhancing corporate oversight and accountability. In the context of an increasingly complex and dynamic business environment, the need for transparent and accountable governance has become more urgent. The use of AI in GCG not only serves to enhance operational efficiency through process automation but also contributes to better risk oversight. AI is capable of detecting patterns and trends that could potentially pose risks, allowing management to take preventive measures earlier. Furthermore, the implementation of this technology helps build trust between the company and stakeholders, strengthens the organization’s reputation, and encourages innovation in business and operational models. Thus, the transformation of GCG through AI becomes a strategic step that not only enhances internal performance but also creates sustainable added value for all stakeholders.
