Abstract

A metaverse is beyond the internet, not only offering users a 3D virtual world in which they can be simultaneously but also letting them travel between different times. Digital currencies are based on technologies like blockchain, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence. As we move ahead, leaving footprints towards Metaverse, we are concerned about safety and privacy against hacking and breaching. We see the current technological advances and, at the same time, also try to figure out the upcoming breakthroughs from a security perspective. Several parts of the metaverse present issues, among which are scalability and the issue of components agreeing on the same things. This research paper will analyze the varieties of opportunities that need research concerning Metaverse setups and the wide-ranging issues on privacy and security faced in their implementation phase. Additionally, it thoroughly evaluates the privacy and security issues that could be arising due to Metaverse development.
