Multi-criteria decision-making strategies pilot study
Abstract
Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) procedures offer a formal method to help decision-makers improve their choices' analytical rigor, audibility, and dispute resolution. However, there are a few studies that demonstrate that MCDM processes produce superior rankings than intuitive ones, and they have been utilized in a variety of circumstances, the main aim of this study is to investigate the current MCDM procedures. Some of the MCDM tools were briefly addressed to better grasp the various MCDM strategies available for material selection. The MCDM tools are then thoroughly analyzed, with summaries of the results in a tabular format about the MCDM decision criteria, the method used for discerption, advantages, and disadvantages. This study looked at prior studies on various MCDM types and compared them. The earliest literature from the search result (2018) to the present (2023) is included in the selected articles, which are distributed over a decade and have substantially increased in the last two years.
