Improving the organizational and economic mechanism development of innovative activities in the agricultural sector Russian economy

Ensuring food security and competitive development of the agricultural sector requires a complete transition to an innovative type of economy focused on supporting high-tech agricultural production. The organization of innovation activities, the development of entrepreneurship in the scientific and technical field of agriculture, planning and implementation of innovative projects in production are priority areas. In the article, the authors conclude that there is an urgent need for fundamental changes in the formation and support of the competitiveness of the domestic agricultural sector in the global economic system through the introduction of appropriate innovative measures. The leading role in this process should be played by innovative transformations and the activation of an innovative policy for the development of agricultural production.
