Abstract

This study argues that security measures in cloud computing environments are much needed with a primary aim of giving an in-depth examination of encryption techniques as the major safeguarding approach. With increased adoption of cloud services, concerns about data privacy and security have reached a crescendo. The research analyses different encryption methodologies that are being used in cloud computing for securing critical information, and examines their strengths, weaknesses and appropriateness under various scenarios. By taking into account the nitty-gritty details about how encryption works within the context of clouds, this investigation aims to provide readers with an all-encompassing view on the evolving landscape of cloud security. Above all else, it seeks to offer organizations making decisions on how to improve their digital assets against pervasive cyber threats with powerful abilities to choose correctly.
