Assessment of the environmental consequences of the impact if the movement instability of motor vehicles on the soil
Abstract
The results of a study of the problem of the lack of optimal maneuvering of agricultural machinery in the field from the point of view of assessing the environmental and economic damage from such actions are presented. Repeated numerous passes of equipment, violation of the technological track, increased slipping, wagging, and sliding of equipment on the field leads to a significant deterioration in the relief and structure of the soil layer, a decrease in its yield. It is noted that the size of the technological track, as a result of increased "wagging" of equipment on the field, can significantly (by 40-60%) increase due to the amplitude of the track oscillation. The factors that have a significant impact on the violation of the course stability of the equipment movement on the field are both unfavorable agricultural conditions (high humidity, tendency to erosion, etc.), as well as structural, technological and operational features of the behavior of equipment (dimensions, weight of equipment, low qualification of machine operators, etc.). This leads to the exclusion of a significant part of the cultivated field array from the technological process of crop production. The width of the technological track removed from the plant cultivation process can increase significantly (5-10 times), which leads both to a decrease in the yield obtained and to significant negative environmental consequences (compaction, violation of the soil structure, etc.). The impact on the structural and technological characteristics of agricultural machines can significantly (by 26-28%) reduce the amplitude of their vibrations, which is the basis for the positive effect of increasing the culture of mechanization of field work in crop production.
