A multiple chaotic system based on triangular function to generate robust random generator
Abstract
The generation of robust random number sequences is truly essential in the field of cryptography and secure communications for safeguarding data. This paper aims to improve the quality of randomness, to enhance unpredictability which contributes to secure data encryption. In this paper, a robust numbers generation system was presented using multiple chaotic systems using triangular Functions. It is a combination of the Pseudo-Random Bit Generator (PRBG), discrete chaotic systems, sinusoidal functions, and XOR operations. The proposed model contains two main stages: Firstly, generating keys randomly without duplicating using a One-Time Pad (OTP) method. Secondly, updating positions and jumps of numbers for generating keys. The total number that was generated randomly was (2097151) number starting with (4096) number which had (256) blocks for sixteen rounds. More than one performance technique had been utilized such as Pearson correlation, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Standard Deviation (SD), entropy, and Coefficient of Variation (CV). The results showed there is no correlation between the original key and the generated key, and the generated keys cannot be predicted because they had high randomness because of using triangular function and XOR operation.
