Abstract

Processes occurring in the global educational landscape necessitate changes in teaching approaches in light of global digitalization trends. They emphasize the transformation of the activities of educational process participants, ensuring sustainable development amid uncertainty and risks. In the Kazakhstani education system, there is a growing focus on integrating informal research methods that address teaching challenges directly within the activity, utilizing digital resources. This study highlights the relevance and potential of implementing artificial intelligence in the research activities of educators in pedagogical universities. It presents the results of professional development courses for young educators based on the training modular program “Action Research and Artificial Intelligence – the Foundation for Developing the Teacher-Researcher Model.” Based on the analysis of feedback and survey results, pathways for the effective application of informal research methods and artificial intelligence technologies in university education practice are identified.
