Abstract

This research aims to explore the connections between organizational commitment, work-life balance, job satisfaction, and turnover intention by focusing on nurses at Pantai Hospital in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, using artificial intelligence. The study investigates four main variables: job satisfaction, work-life balance, organizational commitment, and turnover intention. With the growing challenges faced by nurses, such as demanding shift schedules and the impact of infectious diseases like COVID-19, the study delves into the factors that influence nurses’ decisions to stay or leave their positions. A quantitative approach was employed, surveying 201 nurses through questionnaires to gather data. Initial analysis with SPSS version 25 revealed that organizational commitment and work-life balance significantly affect turnover intention. The research also examines the role of AI in workforce management, aiming to gain deeper insights into nurse turnover and offer strategies to enhance retention at Pantai Hospital. The findings encourage further exploration into the potential of AI to address nursing shortages and optimize healthcare workforce management.
