Abstract

As a cornerstone of academic research quality, the existing peer review model is not friendly to researchers, and generous review is expected to improve this situation. By developing structured review templates that guide constructive dialogue and establishing reviewer feedback systems that foster professional growth, academic publishers can provide reviewers – particularly emerging scholars – with the necessary tools and incentives to put generosity into practice. These systemic investments collectively cultivate a more supportive, inclusive, and productive scholarly review ecosystem.
