In cultural festivals, chrysanthemums are cherished for their vibrant colors and symbolic meanings. They feature prominently in events such as the Chinese Chongyang Festival, Japanese Kiku Matsuri, and Korean Chrysanthemum Exhibition, symbolizing longevity, rejuvenation, and happiness. International flower festivals, including those at Longwood Gardens and the New York Botanical Garden, showcase chrysanthemums in elaborate displays, highlighting their global appeal. In landscaping, chrysanthemums are prized for their extensive color range, adaptability, and ability to extend the blooming season into late summer and autumn. Gardeners incorporate them into diverse designs, including mass plantings for dramatic visual impact, mixed borders for dynamic landscapes, and container gardening for flexible and decorative arrangements.
