Existence and optimal control for a new class of evolutionary variational hemivariational inequalities with applications
Abstract
In this work, we address the existence and optimal control for a new class of evolutionary variational hemivariational inequalities involving weakly continuous operators. The existence of solutions is established by exploiting the Rothe method and a surjectivity theorem for multivalued weakly upper continuous operators, and is also investigated by using the method of feedback control. We thereafter present several conditions to guarantee the existence of optimal feasible pairs. Finally, the main results are generalized to fractional evolutionary variational-hemivariational inequalities and applied to a quasistatic frictional contact problem.
