Stability analysis of series-connected type II thermoelastic systems subject to non-uniform disturbances
Abstract
This paper investigates the exponential boundary stabilisation problem for serially connected type II thermoelastic systems subjected to non-uniform bounded disturbances. Based on the framework of Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC), we propose a novel time-varying extended state estimator capable of exponentially tracking and compensating for external disturbances. The control strategy combines disturbance estimation with boundary feedback mechanisms, addressing the inherent challenge of the lack of energy dissipation in type II thermoelastic systems. And numerical simulations confirm the control strategy's effectiveness, highlighting the system's quick convergence and robustness against disturbances. This research introduces a new theoretical framework and control approach for applying type II thermoelastic systems in practice, especially where precise thermal control and low energy loss are crucial.
