Abstract

In this paper, an improved memory-event-triggered output feedback is proposed to attenuate the effects of hybrid cyber-attacks in a cyber-physical system. Such method presents longer packet release time, with more robustness against packet loss and denial of service attacks, compared to the existing quadratic event-triggered method. Furthermore, the external disturbance and communication delay are taken into account, in the design procedure. For secure control, an analysis tool is also presented to evaluate the robustness of the controller against the hybrid cyber-attack, composed of denial of service and deception attack. To validate the performance of the presented method, two dynamical models are investigated in a simulation environment. From a comparison view point, the simulation results are demonstrated to confirm the robustness property against the hybrid cyber-attack, disturbance, communication delay and packet loss, which satisfies the secure control index.
