Abstract

SummaryFrom Euler’s reflection formula, the product of gamma functions Γ(1+1n)Γ(1−1n) is shown to have a geometric interpretation as the arc to chord ratio for a sector of a regular convex polygon with n sides. It also applies to any sector of a circle.
