Automorphisms and right ideal decompositions of nearrings with faithful 2-step modules
Abstract
Suppose N is a 0-symmetric nearring with identity satisfying the descending chain condition on right ideals. An N-module which has a unique proper nonzero N-subgroup is called a 2-step N-module. In a previous paper the authors studied decompositions of N into direct sums of right ideals when N has a faithful 2-step N-module V. In part of this study a type of N-automorphism of V arose. Here we are going to expand on this matter. As we shall see, Frobenius groups with abelian Frobenius kernels and centralizer nearrings will play roles in our work.
