Abstract

Bernoulli wavelet operational matrix of derivative method has been presented to solve the non-linear system of ordinary differential equations for the analysis of dusty Carreau fluid flow over a stretching sheet with Ohmic heating, viscous dissipation, activation energy, melting heat transfer, thermophoresis, Brownian motion and entropy generation. For validation purposes, the results of the example determined by the proposed technique are compared with exact solutions; also, the solutions of the dusty fluid model under consideration for certain fixed factors are compared with the solution given in the literature. The impact of diverse physical quantities on the velocity, temperature, concentration attributes and entropy generation is analysed with the aid of the proposed technique. The melting parameter escalates the velocity and delineates the thermal and concentration attributes. The thermal relaxation parameter uplifts the temperature. Thermophoresis parameter uplifts the temperature and depreciates the concentration. Brownian motion improves both the temperature and concentration. The concentration decreases for the chemical reaction parameter and accelerates for the activation energy. Entropy generation escalates for Brinkman number, magnetic parameters, diffusion and radiation parameters. The method is a simple and powerful technique for solving differential equations.
