Abstract

This article explores the effects of heat dissipation and cross diffusion in unsteady electro-magnetic Casson chemically reactive gravity-driven hybrid nanofluid transmission engaging the variable heat source/sink and activation energy via a tilted vertical cone encased in porous material. Water and ethylene-glycol composite utilized as a base fluid to synthesize the hybrid nanofluid with Ag and TiO2 nanoparticles. The finite element method has been used to simplify the governing PDEs. The outcomes unveiled that the fluid speed slowed with inclination angle, Casson parameter, activation energy and magnetic field. The fluid temperature amplified due to radiation, viscous heating and cross-diffusion effects. Similarly, fluid concentration is enhanced with Soret effect but diminished with chemical reactions and activation energy. The magnetic field, viscous heating and Soret/Dufour impacts increased the friction-drag. The Nusselt number improved with viscous heating and nanoparticle's volume-fraction. The Sherwood number lessened with activation energy and chemical reactions but raised by the Soret effect.
