Abstract

The impacts of Soret and Dufour on hydromagnetic convection heat and mass transmission flow of nanofluid on an upright vertical permeable sheet are explored in this paper. The governing partial differential equations (PDEs) undergo a transformation via an appropriate similarity transformation, resulting in a system of coupled nonlinear ordinary differential equations (ODEs). With the assistance of the MATLAB tool, dimensionless ODEs can be solved numerically through the finite difference technique. The consequences of nanoparticle volume fraction, magnetic field intensity, and thermo-diffusive parameters are specifically investigated in this comparative study of four distinct water-based nanofluids: titanium dioxide (TiO2), copper (Cu), alumina (AlO3), and silver (Ag). Temperature and velocity both increase in proportion to an increase in Df. The concentration, temperature, and velocity the profiles all increase for growing amounts of volume fraction of copper nanoparticles (0 - 0.04). As a result of enhancing the values of φ from 0.01 to 0.04, the values of (−ϕ'(0)) and f'(0) rise about 106% and 74%, respectively, whereas the value of (−θ'(0)) falls around 82%. The results offer fresh physical understanding of the mechanics of linked mass and heat transfer in nanofluid-based MHD systems that are pertinent to contemporary thermal engineering applications.
