Abstract

The investigation of the diffusion process of concentration potential in a porous elastic material regarding Klein-Gordon time nonlocality theory. The governing equations are formulated for a porous elastic material in Klein-Gordon nonlocality with new concept of time nonlocality theory. The expression for nonlocal dispersive equations of wave speed is obtained using analytical method. The presence of three plane dilatation waves namely coupled longitudinal plane (P) wave, coupled mass diffusion (mD) wave, coupled volume fraction (vF) wave, and one independent shear vertical (SV) wave is indicated by the plane-wave solution of dispersive equations. For numerical computation of wave speed and reflection coefficient FORTRAN Program is used by considering an Epoxy of aluminum and Magnesium crystal-like material constants. Effect of Klein-Gordon nonlocality, diffusion parameter and porosity are examined. These effects are displayed graphically. Data generated by FORTRAN is also used in prediction of result by machine learning methods. The obtained data is pre-processed (Handling missing values, removing duplicates, managing outliers, if any) and split into 80-20 for training and testing the models. Metrics like R2, MAE, and RSE are used to evaluate the predictions of the models.
