Abstract

Hybrid nanofluids are the most recent type of heat transfer fluid, with significant industrial applications due to the dispersion of multiple nanoparticles in conventional base fluids. The unique thermal impact of hybrid classes has led to their unique applications in energy storage devices, photovoltaic systems, and thermal management systems. Because of these demands the current investigation analyses irreversibility in a microchannel with hybrid nanofluid flow and quadratic thermal radiation. The analysis considers spherical-spherical, spherical-cylindrical, and spherical-platelet shape combinations of two nanoparticles. The microchannel model with the established circumstances induces a dimensionless ordinary differential equation, which is then numerically discussed using the Runge-Kutta Fehlberg 4th/5th order technique. A greater thermal transfer rate is achieved for the spherical-spherical combination compared to the spherical-cylindrical and spherical-platelet combinations. The impact of this scrutiny is analysed for the first time in the context of microchannel flow.
