Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive review of various Partial Power Processed Converters (PPPCs) topologies with the primary focus on DC–DC converters and their applications in various industrial sectors. PPPCs are increasingly being used because they can process only a portion of the total power, leading to reduced conduction losses and improved system efficiency. The review systematically examines different PPPC topologies, highlighting their respective advantages and disadvantages. It also explores the modulation schemes and control processes associated with these converters, providing insights into their performance optimization and suitability for specific industrial applications. This comprehensive analysis aims to guide engineers and researchers in selecting the most appropriate PPPC configurations to improve power conversion efficiency and reduce operational costs in industrial systems.
