The maximum likelihood degree of Farlie-Gumbel-Morgenstern bivariate exponential distribution
Abstract
The maximum likelihood degree of a statistical model refers to the number of solutions (over the complex field) to the system of equations given by setting the derivatives of the log-likelihood function to zero. This paper examines the maximum likelihood degree of the parameter in the Farlie-Gumbel-Morgenstern bivariate exponential distribution.
