National Youth Fitness Tests and Awards: Dispelling Misconceptions and Misinformation
Abstract
President Trump recently issued an Executive Order reestablishing the Presidential Fitness Test. Physical educators are largely responsible for administering youth fitness tests, and it is important that they educate students and the public to dispel misconceptions and misinformation. This article highlights some of the most prominent misconceptions and misinformed statements that have been disseminated, followed by the correct information.
