Abstract

How can a secondary health instructor working with either middle school or high school students provide a practical-application project to turn a health lesson on managing stress and anxiety that extends beyond the traditional lecture (a passive experience for students) into a hands-on, experiential, and engaging classroom climate? This article outlines an art painting project designed to create a hands-on, dynamic activity that does just that.
