Abstract

This study introduces the AI Workplace Well-being (AWWB) Scale, a psychometrically validated instrument grounded in Seligman’s PERMA framework that captures employees’ multidimensional well-being in AI-integrated workplaces. Following standardized scale development procedures, A total of 1,191 participants were recruited across three independent samples for exploratory factor analysis (n = 371), confirmatory factor analysis (n = 370), and external validation (n = 450). The final scale comprises 21 items across five dimensions. The AWWB advances assessment beyond generic well-being tools by targeting AI-specific experiences during human–AI collaboration. It offers practical utility for evaluating AI implementation, informing employee training, and guiding human-centred AI policy in organizations.
