Abstract

This study uses the difference-in-differences (DID) method to examine the impact of digital economy on corporate innovation resilience, to provide empirical evidence for interpreting digital economy policy effects. The results show that digital economy contributes to enhancing innovation resilience. Further analysis indicates that digital economy optimizes resource allocation, thereby promoting innovation resilience. The above results are reflected in the eastern regions, but not significantly in the central and western regions. Finally, it is suggested that the enabling effect of digital economy on innovation resilience be promoted. The eastern regions disseminate the experience that digital economy enhances innovation resilience, thereby accelerating innovation pace in the central and western regions. This study enriches the theoretical literature on big data development and provides practical insights for enhancing innovation resilience.
