How Modi transformed India-Israel relations
Abstract
Building on over three decades of normalisation and responding to a favourable regional climate, Prime Minister Narendra Modi managed to break from the traditional balancing and pursue a more assertive policy towards Israel. This clearly manifests in India’s reaction and response to the 7 October terror attacks against Israel and its aftermath.
