Abstract

This study evaluates sustainable tourism practices in Uzbekistan’s Khorezm Region by integrating the RESENSES model with the Glocal RPM framework. Using data from tourists and residents, the research applies Importance – Performance Analysis, Structural Equation Modeling, and Multi-Group Analysis. Results reveal performance gaps in transport, governance, and environmental quality, with tourists more influenced by service quality and residents by sustainability and governance. Performance strongly drives satisfaction and loyalty, underscoring the need for improved service delivery and environmental management. The study offers a practical framework for strengthening sustainable tourism in heritage destinations.
