Abstract

In the twenty-first century, the tourism business has enormous potential for change due to the rapid development and incorporation of robotics. There is a lot of room for growth and creative development given the growing use of robots in the travel and tourism sector, their interaction with Gen Z travelers, and robotic technology in developing nations. In addition to examining pertinent concepts like attitudes, satisfaction, emotions, behavioral goals, and engagement, this study looks at the dynamics of interactions between Gen Z and robots. This study aims to shed light on these areas to determine how robotic services affect Gen Z travelers’ entire travel experiences. This was established through a survey research design that collected data from Gen Z tourists in a developing economy, utilizing a structured questionnaire. Ten of the 11 hypotheses that were put up in the study to look at the links between the constructs were confirmed, while one was rejected. Managers, lawmakers, and decision-makers in the travel and tourism sector can benefit from the study’s conclusions, which provide value. Ultimately, by guiding the tourism industry’s acceptance and integration of robots, these findings can improve long-term growth, customer satisfaction, and loyalty.
