Abstract

This second volume of the Special Issue examines the impact of war-induced trauma from relational, developmental, and clinical perspectives, with particular attention to parents, therapists, and creative interventions amidst ongoing conflict. While Volume I addressed the communal and societal aspects of collective trauma, this volume concentrates on interpersonal processes within families, therapeutic relationships, and intervention settings. The included studies examine parental coping and resilience, mechanisms of trauma transmission within families, therapists’experiences of shared trauma and moral injury, and the role of art- and music-based interventions in promoting emotional regulation, meaning-making, and resilience. Collectively, the contributions provide an insightful and practice-oriented account of how parents and professionals navigate the realities of war, elucidating pathways of adaptation, care, and creative response in the face of enduring violence and uncertainty.
