Iran’s broadcasting history is complex, and the influential impacts of the Islamic Revolution have greatly complicated its media and broadcasting policies. This research uses the documentary method in order to explore the IRIB within the theoretical framework of the Media Policy Field (MPF). The aim is to understand how the policy-making field in Iran influences the broadcasting policies of the IRIB.
