Abstract

Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology utilizes different laser wavelengths for data transmission. However, signal interference and non-linearity issues caused to degrade the network performance. Hence, the research work considers the Fractional Sparrow Optimized Signal Compensation (FSO-SCM) model to improve the data transmission efficiency and reduce the signal interference. Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier (EDFA) parameters are optimized by the FSO algorithm, which controls the power levels to reduce the signal interference effects. Eventually, FSO-SCM model demonstrates the error values of BER, EVM, GMI, MI, SER, SNR, and GMI are 1.18, 3.16dB, 0.55717, 0.2697, 56170.00dB, and 1.166, respectively.
