Abstract
Librarians wishing to assess database results may use embedded analytics in research databases like Scopus and Web of Science. Yet more specialized analysis tools such as VOSviewer are available to further delineate records and visualize research metrics. Free and easily downloadable, and compatible with leading database platforms, VOSViewer offers an effective way to map and explore scientific research.
