Strong Foundations: A Holistic Approach to Political Science Career Preparation
Abstract
This paper outlines a scaffolding approach in a political science program to enhance undergraduate career readiness. We use a curated sequence of courses, co-curricular activities like Model UN, and targeted internships to build skills. A senior seminar focusing on post-graduation preparation and reflection completes the model.
