Key technology and application of collaborative dust control in coal mine tunnels based on coaxial pneumatic atomization
Abstract
To address the challenge of managing high-concentration respirable dust in coal mine return airways, this study proposes a coaxial pneumatic atomization collaborative dust control scheme. This research breaks through the limitations of single dust reduction methods and deeply analyzes the microscopic evolution laws of the ultrasonic atomization field through VOF-DPM coupled numerical simulation, confirming the advantages of this technology in generating micron-sized (optimal capture size) droplets. Subsequently, a collaborative dust control system integrating wet dust collection nets and belt humidifying curtains was constructed, and its layout parameters were systematically optimized. The study found that spray pressure is significantly negatively correlated with droplet size, while the nozzle aperture determines the coverage density of the atomization field. The engineering practices at the Zaozhuang Mining Group show that this collaborative strategy can effectively control the respirable dust concentration to around 6.4 mg/m³, with a total dust reduction efficiency of 96.58%. This research not only improves the theoretical framework of multisource collaborative dust removal in underground mines but also provides reliable technical support for precise management in high-concentration dust environments.
