Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of monetary and psychological well-being on employees in the hospitality industry, and rebooting tourism through employees’ cognitive well-being. Utilizing established theories alongside novel insights, a conceptual framework has been created and empirically evaluated through Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) utilizing AMOS software. The results indicate a strong, significant relationship between the monetary and psychological well-being of employees and the performance of the hospitality industry. This study identified salary, mental pressure, organizational support, government incentives, and a moratorium on loans as crucial factors in managing crises and generating tourism. This study provides theoretical clarity on employee-centered crisis management while offering practical guidance for hospitality leaders and policymakers to motivate employees and ensure sustainable tourism. In the post-pandemic era, regenerating the hospitality sector, the results of this study can be applied to future tourism development.
