Détourner, mode d’emploi. Politiques de la littérature et in(ter)ventions féministes chez Chloé Delaume
Abstract
This article examines détournement in Chloé Delaume’s writing as both a poetic and political device, bridging literary experimentation and feminist engagement. Drawing on texts such as Les mouflettes d’Atropos, La règle du Je, Une femme avec personne dedans and Mes bien chères sœurs, it distinguishes three modes of intervention: an (auto)theoretical mode recuperating the feminist archive to politicize autofiction; an ironic mode subverting hegemonic discourses through sharp wit; and a symbolic mode reinterpreting national narratives from a contemporary feminist perspective. The study argues that, more than a formal exercise, détournement in Chloé Delaume enacts the performative dimension of literature and gives way to a literary politics that rejects dogmatism in favor of an inventive, playful style, fostering complicity with the reader.
