Abstract

The article explores a lesser-known aspect of Chloé Delaume’s work: her screenwriting work, which began in Delaume Citation2014 with the short film La Contribution. Since then, she has written three feature-length screenplays (Mémoréa, Les Contribuants, Trois cœurs et des canines), all of which remain unproduced. These works, rooted in genre cinema (science fiction, horror comedy, mockbuster), feature hybrid figures such as cyborgs, zombies, and vampires, reflecting a form of identity instability. The analysis focuses on how intertextuality and intermediality allow Delaume to transform personal experience into esthetic language, making the screenplay a space of memory and a chosen fictional lineage.
