‘Quelles notes ça fait, Chloé Delaume ?’ Dans ma maison sous terre , du questionnement identitaire à la création musicale
Abstract
This article examines how literary and musical creation are articulated in Dans ma maison sous terre by Chloé Delaume. Far from an illustrative or echoing relationship, we will see that intermediality allows a fertile dialectic to emerge, between an introspective movement, linked to the vacillation of identity, and a movement of externalization, through embodiment in a musical theme. The musical diversion, through the change of medium, from book to musical creation, can be seen as one of the author means’ to draw the contours of her identity. We look in particular at the moments when audio creation becomes autonomous, in the tracks ‘À la morgue’ and ‘Parque à thème’.
