Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming academic library services, particularly in managing user feedback. However, many Ghanaian university libraries still rely on traditional methods such as paper forms, emails, and basic rule based chatbots, which are slow and offer limited analytical value. This article explores current feedback practices, their limitations, and the potential of AI to enhance responsiveness and decision making. Using a qualitative design, semi structured interviews were conducted with sixteen participants from eight public universities. Findings reveal inefficiencies and limited analytics, alongside optimism for AI adoption despite concerns about infrastructure, staff capacity, and readiness. An extended Technology Acceptance Model is proposed.
