A direct sampling method for magnetic induction tomography
Abstract
Abstract This paper proposes a direct sampling method for the inverse problem of magnetic induction tomography. Our approach defines a class of point spread functions with explicit expressions, which are computed via inner products, leading to a simple and fast imaging process. We prove that the point spread functions are bounded and decay uniformly to zero as the sampling point approaches the measurement surface. This boundary-decay property provides a theoretical explanation for the suppression of sampling points near the measurement boundary. Numerical experimental results further confirm the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed algorithm.
