Effect of temperature on phase-ordering kinetics of two dimensional Coulomb Glass system
Abstract
Abstract We investigate phase ordering kinetics of the two-dimensional Coulomb glass (CG) model at zero disorder using Monte Carlo simulation at different temperatures. The lattice Coulomb glass model is characterized by electrons localized on lattice sites, interacting through an unscreened Coulomb interaction. For zero disorder, the system shows a second-order phase transition from the paramagnetic state to an antiferromagnetic state at the transition temperature T c . In this paper, we quenched the system to temperatures T < T c /2. To investigate domain growth laws, we computed the correlation function and the domain length scale L ( t ). The correlation function scales with L ( t ) at all temperatures investigated. After the domains grow to a certain size, the growth law is independent of the temperature to which the system is quenched.
