Abstract

Abstract In this paper, we provide a short review on the Quintom dark energy theory. First, we discuss the No-Go theorem associated with dynamical dark energy, then present some examples of models in which the equation of state evolves with time and can cross w = −1. Second, we discuss the bouncing universe and emergent universe with Quintom matter. Finally, we discuss the possibility of studying the nature of dark energy by measuring the Cosmic Microwave Background polarization rotation angle.
