Corrigendum: Correction factors for two new reference beta radiation fields (2020 Metrologia 57 065005)
Abstract
Abstract In the original version of this article, correction factors for primary and secondary beta dosimetry were given for two energy-reduced 90 Sr/ 90 Y beta-particle reference radiation fields. In the course of implementing one of these two radiation fields into the Beta Secondary Standard irradiation facility, BSS 2, it became obvious that the measured correction factors presented in the original version of this article strongly depend on the absorber’s thickness used for the energy reduction. Therefore, a dimensionally exact absorber was manufactured and the corresponding correction factors measured again. The results are presented in this corrigendum.
